D isneyland visits are virtually as common as going to the supermarket. Everyone who was once a kid or has kids has definitely been to or planning to go to Disneyland. Therefore, we provide advice based on our practical knowledge that will not only tell you how to plan a Disneyland vacation but also execute it flawlessly!

Much has changed in the previous year or two because of the pandemic. However, things are beginning to just start to return to normal. Whatever happens, we're determined that with our guide you’re bound to make the most of your Disneyland day.

Knowing that the happiest place on Earth may also be one of the craziest locations on Earth, having some strategy while visiting the parks is essential. That's where we come into the scene! So without keeping you waiting any longer, here are our suggestions to help you make the most of your time at Disneyland.

Purchase Tickets Online

We usually recommend buying tickets beforehand, and you'll still now need a valid park ticket as well as a park reservation before visiting. This is how Disneyland can keep crowds to a minimum and maintain physical separation. Did you know that you may save money on Disneyland tickets by purchasing them via Undercover Tourist? To ensure your dates, make your Disneyland park reservations as soon as you get your ticket purchase. When making your reservations, you'll need to decide which park you wish to visit. If you're traveling by park-hopping, you'll decide which park to attend first.

Plan Your Trip For a Good Season

While visiting Disneyland is always a fantastic idea, there are certain periods of the year that are better than others. Disneyland's timetable is heavily influenced by holidays, school calendars, and local tourists. Use this chart to figure out when the ideal time is to go to Disneyland.

Reservations may only be made up to 60 days in advance at this time. Here are two other resources that may be helpful in organizing your visit at this time: Disneyland Park Availability Calendar — Use this calendar to ensure that the park you want to visit is open on the day you want to go (before you buy or start to reserve).

Book A Hotel At Disneyland

Stay on-site for the most immersive Disneyland experience. The three on-site hotels — Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, and Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel — are all uniquely styled and have fantastic Disney touches (plus you can save money by booking with them!). Every day of your stay at an on-site property during regular hours, you may enjoy the Extra Magic Hour. Extra Magic Hour grants you one-hour early entrance to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, which may help you avoid long lines at popular rides.

Overnight guests with Disney's Royal Californian Hotel get access to a special resort entrance to Disney California Adventure, which is a pleasant bonus of staying there. If you're park hopping, you'll want to start your day in that park.

Remain Near Disneyland If You Can't Stay In It

Some off-site hotels near Disneyland are actually closer than on-site hotels, with some which are less than a 10-minute walk from the Esplanade, which links the Disneyland Park with Disney California Adventures gates. You don't have to register at Disneyland when you live nearby, and you won't waste time in the car park or the long walk from there to the parks.

Take It Easy In The Security Queue

Being prepared is the greatest method to go through the security queue swiftly. Bring just what you'll need for the day. Bring bags with fewer pockets and zippers. Make sure all of your baggage is open and visible to the cast member. Prepare to put your keys, mobile phone, money, and any metal gadgets in your pockets on the table at the security scanners. Do you have a belt, for example, that you know will buzz? Remove it and place it in a bag for the time being.

Before you go, don’t forget to take out any prohibited objects from your baggage, including selfie sticks, loose ice, whistles, pocket knives, balls, zip ties, and restraining gadgets. It is indeed inconvenient for the park staff as well as the guests if they have to take some kind of action when you simply just forgot what you packed in your bag.

Other than this little tidbit, you already know all there is needed to know on how to plan a Disneyland vacation!
